Magical Christmas Snow Globe Coloring Pages to Print
Christmas snow globes have such a magical charm, don’t they? Whether it’s Santa in the snow, a cosy gingerbread house, or a tiny winter village, there’s something soothing about watching the “snow” fall in slow motion. These Christmas snow globe coloring pages bring that same peaceful joy to a quiet afternoon at home.
When my kids were little, we spent hours doing crafts at Christmas. We made presents for family members, and made Christmas cards in mass. Sometimes, I was even known to let the kids use glitter 😬 (Anyone who knows me well, knows how much hatred I have for the stuff!)
But sometimes you need a calm, mess-free activity that still feels festive and fun. That’s exactly what these snow globe printables are perfect for: a fun, alternative take on the usual Christmas images.
With classic scenes like penguins, reindeer, angels, nativity sets, and winter cabins, these coloring pages are a lovely way to wind down, spark imagination, and enjoy some cosy creativity together.

Fun Facts About Snow Globes
Thinking ahead for the New Year and how to help your child set healthy habits? Then you will love this post:

For a quick and fun experiment, let your child test which liquid makes “snow” fall the slowest.
You will need:
3 clear cups, water, a squirt of washing-up liquid, a little glycerin or syrup, and glitter.
What to do:
- Cup A: fill with water
- Cup B: water + a bit of washing-up liquid
- Cup C: water + a teaspoon of glycerin or syrup
Drop glitter into each cup and watch which one makes it fall the slowest. What happens if you mix the solution with a spoon once it has settled? Is there anything else you could try using?
Real snow globes use thicker liquids (like glycerin) because they make the “snow” float and swirl gently.
Make Your Own Snow Globe
For a hands on activity to enjoy with your kid, then consider making your own snow globe using supplies at home. This a great way to make use of small plastic festive toys, or a clean-ish way to enjoy glitter.
